Welcome to the Home of Aurora Youth Rugby
The Saracens
2009 is the 25th year of Aurora Youth Rugby.
There is a rich tradition of rugby in Aurora including one State Championship
and several "Top 5" finishes. The Saracens have placed dozens of players on the ERRFU (Colorado) U-19 Representative as well as a handful of USA U-19 Players and USA U-19 Eagles.
Heart, Dedication, Fitness and
Sportsmanship define
Saracen Rugby If you have played a contact sport, a non-contact
sport, or no sport at all you can PLAY RUGBY. For the
2009 season, we are again looking strong with 12 returning players and a crop of talented rookies. The Saracens had a great finish for 2008, by taking home the State 3rd Place trophy for the 2nd year in a row. The 2006 Aurora team captured the plate division, and 2005 narrowly missed a trip to the championship match narrowly losing to East in the last 45 seconds of an exciting semi-final match.

Why Rugby
Emerson uttered a mouthful when he said "whoso
would be a man, must be a non-conformist" (but then he had a nasty habit of
being profound). It could well be the rugby player's credo. You will find so
many drawn to the game because they want to try something different, something
exciting and new, and something that others may be just a bit fearful of.
